Another one of my friends has been kind enough to take some photos of some of their oufits so I can include them on my lovely bloggy blog.

Ok, so this is my very good friend Andy.  He has always been stylish and is a super duper shopping partner.

He has given me a choice of two pictures, and to be honest I like both outfits so they are both going on here.

My Friends Will Love Me…NOT!

This time we are having a bit of a change on Frock and Roll and I am going to look at mens fashion.

Meet my friend Dave.

I used to work with Dave and we have been friends for nearly 6 years.  Over those 6 years he has always been rather stylish and loves his brand names. But boy is he vain!

By the way, the lighting had nothing to do with me.  Dave is a very keen photographer, so just knew how to get the lighting right – Quite professional looking I think!

Look one

A-Class clothes at A|Wear

Ok, so I normally do a post on my friends fashion, but as some were shall we say rahter reluctant to me me put them on my blog, I had to use my back up…ME!

A new store has opened in the Potteries Shopping Centre, (the best shopping centre near me) and it is a rather good one.

A|Wear is Irelands number one fashion store, and has now got there stores in the UK.

I went in the other week seeking out a dress for a staff night out, and lets just say I was pleasantly pleased by what A|Wear had to offer.

Spring 09 trends and colour palettes are everywhere, from nautical red, white and navy stripes, to flowery and ditzy print numbers, 80’s retro and their own trend the sharp urban look.

I was spoilt for choice, and the staff were so helpful that I just wanted to buy more. But I selected three items and here they are.

Yes they’re not great pics, and I certainly am no budding model, so please don’t judge.

Yes it is me, deliberately with my head chopped off – believe me readers you do not want to see it!!!

Hmm, didn’t realise how bad the strap marks were. But hey it’s been sunny here and doing uni work in the garden is way better than it  the house.

CUPCAKE BANDEAU DRESS – £30 A|WEAR

SHOES (MY FAVOURITE SHOES IN THE ENTIRE WORLD) -£20 NEXT RUNWAY COLLECTION

NECKLACE – £14 URBAN OUTFITTERS ♥

Now for the second outfit

Ahoy there

Ahoy there

Attempting the Nautical look.

NAVY TULIP SKIRT – £22 A|WEAR

NAVY AND CREAM 3/4 LENGHT SLEEVE TOP £16 A|WEAR

SHOES (YE-OLD FAITHFUL) -£35 DOROTHY PERKINS

NECKLACE – £14 URBAN OUTFITTERS ♥

I really really like quite a lot of the clothes in A|Wear at it is definitely worth checking out their shops or their nicely laid out and well stocked website.

I think quite a lot of my wages will be spent in their shop.

My Friends Will Love Me Not…

Yes people it is that time again, where I delve into my photos to see which of my friends looks fab in their outfit.

This week it is my lovely friend Katy, who I used to work with, and is now a regular on the Friday night outings with the girlies.

We both have a passion for dresses, but I swear every time I see her out she has a new one!

However Katy is very petite and can get away with wearing a tunic top as a dress, here’s my favourite one of hers.

Katy, looking fab in a bright print tunic top

Katy, looking fab in a bright print tunic top

She teamed this tunic top with a pair of black tights and some killer heals, she didn’t over accessorise because of the brightness of the print, which I think was a wise move, but boy I love that eyeshadow, it just makes the outfit.

The tunic was from TOPSHOP and they have a great selection of tunic tops along with other fantastic clothes on their site.

Katy can’t remember how much it was precisely but she thinks it was around £22, which if you ask me is a bargain.

So get out there and get yourself a tunic top there gonig to be massive again this year, and what makes it better is that there uber comfy!

My friends will love me…NOT! Part Two

The first person that I looked at was my best friend Katie, who I’ve known since college.

She is mad, but I love her for it, and she is a great shopping partner!

Well we went out a few weeks back and I really loved the top she was wearing, so much so that I was considering buying the same one from H&M.

She will kill me for using this pic, but it was the best that showed the outfit off…Honest!

Could I be Britain's Next Top Model

Could I be Britain's Next Top Model

The shirt from H&M is a pale blue with thin white stripes, it is quite long but is fitted across the chest, with little puff sleeves. The denim shorts are a great purchase from New Look, but oh boy it took her a while to decide whether to buy them. GOOD MOVE KATE!

Shirt £19.99 from H&M

Shorts £20.00 from New Look

Such a stylish best friend…I think so!

xoxo
